FLASH Design: Flash elements such as a banner or demo can add dynamic visual appeal to a otherwise dull website. You can showcase the benefits of your products or services with customer/client interaction too. However, too much Flash code on the homepage can adversely affect your Google search engine rankings. Light and simple usage is the best approach. Because of the complex nature of Flash animations, Flash design can be very time-consuming. This makes calculating costs difficult without adequate client information. Factors that determine the cost of Flash design are the number of transitions, duration, quantity, and quality of the images used. *Contact me with details of your Flash idea for an estimate.

GRAPHIC/PRINT Design: Custom graphic and icon or logo design is typically estimated and billed separately due to the uniqueness of the client’s needs and purposes. Is the graphic/logo to be used just for web or do you want to be able to print it too and at various sizes? How colorful do you want it? The more colors in the graphic, the more expensive to pro print. How many examples or "comps" do you want to review? The answers to these questions will vary the pricing of graphics widely, but typically custom graphics/logos range depending on the effort. Providing as much info on the look and feel you want to achieve will lead me to designing the best Compositions (comps) or drafts. Usually 2 or 3 rough comp ideas are created for a client before settling on a final comp to produce. *Please note that Comp work is design work and constitutes keeping a deposit payment even if the client chooses not to move forward on final production.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization): SEO is what puts your website on the World Wide Web map for all the world to see and find you! Before the Internet existed, if you had a business storefront and weren’t listed in the Yellow pages, your business didn’t exist to the vast public--let alone the world. These days all it takes is a few top ranking keywords on Google for the world to be at your doorstep ready to buy what you’re selling! Most of my Website Packages include some Basic SEO coding to get Google to see your site, but Top 10 Ranking isn’t guaranteed. No designer can guarantee Top 10 Google rankings! If they say they can--walk away. They just want your money. Google makes the rules and changes their algorithm often to keep site designers from exploiting it. It’s a constant moving target that you must keep fine-tuning your site to. It takes a lot more thorough SEO job to maximize the potential of your site to be seen and heard.
